Engaged in research on ultra-precision machining and inspection technologies, I have led and participated in the development of multiple sets of Ion Beam Figuring (IBF) equipment and Magnetorheological Finishing (MRF) equipment, achieving stable capabilities for fabricating optical components with nanometer- and sub-nanometer-level surface form accuracy. I was among the first in China to systematically conduct research on deterministic optical fabrication theories and processes based on IBF technology, proposing theoretical frameworks and methodologies such as effective material removal efficiency, shaping cutoff frequency, and processing prediction L-curves, thereby advancing and refining the theory and practice of deterministic optical fabrication.

He has presided over two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and participated in more than 20 research projects, including the national key science and technology project “02,” the National Natural Science Foundation’s Major Research Plan, and the “973” Program. He has published over 40 papers, authored three monographs, and obtained more than 20 nationally authorized invention patents. He has received one Second Prize for National Technological Invention, one First Prize for Military Scientific and Technological Progress, and one First Prize for Hunan Province’s Scientific and Technological Progress.

As the project leader, I have undertaken and successfully completed more than 20 projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and pre-research programs for equipment. I have published over 60 academic papers, authored 3 monographs, been granted 4 national invention patents, and participated in the compilation of 5 national military standards and industry standards. I have also received four second-class awards for scientific and technological progress at the provincial and ministerial levels.

Holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from the National University of Defense Technology; completed postdoctoral research at Harbin Institute of Technology and has since served as a lecturer, associate professor, and master’s supervisor in the Precision Engineering Teaching and Research Section at the National University of Defense Technology.

As the project leader, I have spearheaded and completed more than 10 national-level research projects, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, pre-research programs for national defense, special topics under the 973 Program, and major special projects. I have achieved numerous research results in fields such as computer-controlled optical surface shaping, ultra-precision machining, development of high-performance optical manufacturing equipment, precision manufacturing of complex surfaces and microstructures, and error detection and evaluation.

Received one First-Class and one Second-Class Award for Scientific and Technological Progress from Hunan Province; authorized over 10 invention patents, over 10 utility model patents, and 2 software copyrights. Published 33 papers as the first author, including 3 papers indexed by SCI and 12 papers indexed by EI; participated in the publication of 3 academic monographs.
